Warm sunshine is set to continue across south London and Surrey this morning.
Despite a misty start to the day, Met Office forecasters predict sunshine will break through as the day progresses.
A forecaster said: "Starting with areas of mist, low cloud and hill fog to the north of London, and mist and fog elsewhere.
"Today the low cloud, mist and fog will slowly disperse, leaving large amounts of sunshine. It will feel pleasantly warm."
Temperatures are set to reach 16C, he added.
This evening would remain dry, he said, although a mixture of mist, low cloud or patchy fog will slowly re-develop across much of the region through the night, with temperatures dropping to around 6C.
And tomorrow looks set to start in much the same way, with a misty start and temperatures reaching around 15C as the sun breaks through.
