Despite a widespread frost this morning, temperatures are set to rise across south London and Surrey this morning.
Clear skies overnight left many feeling the chill this morning.
However, Met Office forecasters predict dry and fine conditions prevailing as the day progresses, with temperatures reaching around 14C.
A forecaster said: "Clear but often frosty start, with patchy fog soon clearing.
"It will remain dry and fine today. Cloud will slowly increase, but still bright or sunny periods will occur. Top temperatures generally a little above the seasonal average."
Cloud would melt away this evening, leaving clear skies, with temperatures dropping to around 2C, he said, before bright and sunny spells on Tuesday.
"On the whole there will be large amounts of cloud, but still some bright or sunny spells will occur," the forecaster said.
"It will be warm, as temperatures rise a little above average. Maximum temperature 14C."
