A bright start in south London and Surrey is set to give in to dark clouds and rain this afternoon.
Experts at the Met Office predict showery rain will hit the region this afternoon, becoming more persistent and heavier later.
"A few bright or sunny spells and mostly dry at first, but becoming cloudy generally with outbreaks of showery rain developing during the morning and becoming heavier during the afternoon," the forecaster warned.
The maximum temperature today is set to be around 14C.
And the bad weather was set to continue this evening, he added.
"Mostly cloudy and colder with some outbreaks of rain at first and over northern parts later in the night," the forecaster said.
"Some clear spells are possible, mainly over southeastern parts."
Tomorrow would be cloudy with outbreaks of rain, he warned, with some bright spells possible. Maximum Temperature 11C.
