Residents are being reminded that the digital TV switchover starts tomorrow (Wednesday, April 4).
Anyone who does not convert their televisions from analogue TV before the end of the switchover process on April 18 will be left without any TV channels.
Homeowners and tenants in the borough are reminded that virtually any TV can be converted using a Freeview box, digital satellite service or digital cable.
For eligible older (75 years old or over) or disabled viewers who may find the switch difficult, the BBC-run Switchover Help Scheme is providing help with the entire process.
In particular, the scheme offers easy to use equipment for £40 to switch one TV to digital.
In order to receive assistance from the help scheme call 0800 40 85 900, visit www.helpscheme.co.uk or textphone 0800 40 85 936.
Alternatively, any resident wanting face-to-face help can visit Wandsworth Citizens Advice Bureaux branches in Bolingbroke Grove or Roehampton Lane.
Age UK also offers advice about the changeover at www.ageuk.org.uk.
The analogue BBC Two signal will be switched off permanently on April 4 - meaning those who have not converted to digital will lose the channel on Wednesday.
At the same time, BBC digital channels, including BBC Two, will extend to reach all areas.
Two weeks after stage one, on April 18, the remaining analogue channels will be switched off permanently and the remaining digital channels will become available in all areas.
Digital UK and the Switchover Help Scheme have announced that viewers already watching Freeview, Top Up TV or BT Vision will need to retune at both stages of the switchover process - April 4 and April 18.
To check your options for going digital and find out how to retune call 08456 50 50 50 or visit www.digitaluk.co.uk.
