A prolific burglar who admitted breaking into almost 70 different properties across south London has been jailed for four years.
Adam Maxwell, from Replingham Road, Southfields, pleaded guilty to burglary at Croydon Crown Court on March 19.
In October last year police were called to a house in Mottingham, south-east London, after the 22-year-old was seen climbing over a garden fence carrying a bag.
The IKEA employee, who was arrested at work in the Wembley branch in November, fled and was seen running into another house where he was found with a black holdall, containing a flat screen TV and other electrical equipment.
