A record number of children took part in a recent tag rugby tournament for schools.
More than 150 primary school pupils from seven schools across Elmbridge competed in the event on Wednesday, March 21.
The tournament at Weybridge Vandals Rugby Club had a great community feel, with young rugby leaders from Brooklands College attending to referee matches, act as pitch marshals and take scores.
The team from St James Primary School won the tournament and were presented with a cup by the mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor John Sheldon, who watched the events with his wife, Councillor Mary Sheldon.
