The body of a popular Croydon PC who was killed in a jet ski accident was flown back from Kenya on Monday.
Sally Claire Roberts, 28, was on holiday with her boyfriend Andrew Freeman in Mombassa when she died after a collision on September 30.
Since the news of her tragic death, tributes have been pouring in for PC Roberts who spent the last year working on the Crystal Palace Triangle safer neighbourhood team.
Sergeant Spence Ogilvie, who worked closely with PC Roberts on the team, said: "She was the kind of person who, when the custody suite was like a saloon bar, would breeze in and have the ability without having to say anything to lower the anger.
"I know the phone's going to ring and someone is going to ask for Sally because she was involved in so many projects but we know we can go out there and have the support of the community.
"I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone for their support."
The flag outside Croydon Police Station remains at half mast as a mark of respect.
