Croydon Police are appealing for witnesses after eight men - most of whom were armed - stormed into a community centre in South Norwood last week.
The attack occurred at the Turkish Community Centre in Whitehorse Lane last Monday October 2 at around 1.30am.
Police said the eight men, who were mostly armed with revolvers, ordered those in the centre to lie on the floor.
Each person was then robbed of their own possessions. It is believed at least eight people were robbed.
The suspects then made off along Whitehorse Road.
