Croydon Ladies 7
Old Georgians 2
It was seventh-heaven for Croydon Ladies first team on Saturday as they turned around a disappointing start to the season by running riot over Old Georgians.
Croydon dominated from the start, pushing high and creating an immediate chance for Hannah Dawson to slide home the first goal within two minutes.
Croydon's confidence soared and Julie Worthington scored the next two goals in quick succession.
Dawson hit home her second of the game and Worthington completed her hat-trick on the stroke of half time.
Old Georgians turned things around after the break and notched two goals from identical short corner routines.
Undaunted, Croydon exploited gaps in the defence and Worthington scored her fourth before Lisa Owen completed Croydon's scoring with the seventh.
Croydon Ladies rise to fifth place in Surrey Division One.
