This was the one team the Metropolitan Police did not want to be drawn away against.
They had played them in February 2006 in the London Senior Cup and, despite only losing 2-0, they were aware of Fisher Athletics potential.
Police manager Jim Cooper also had additonal worries of five of his first team squad out injured and having to arrange duties to get the rest of his team to the game.
Conference side Fisher have no such worries by employing all their playing squad as full-time professional footballers.
Fisher to be fair were by far the better side and had possession the majority of the first half.
The first three goals, however, could have been avoided if the Police had not made elementary mistakes and given away possession.
Steve Watts was left unmarked to head home the first.
Damien Scannell was then allowed a free run down the wing and finishing with deadly accuracy.
The third just before half-time allowed Leroy Griffiths to seize on a loose ball inside the six-yard box and fire home.
The second half found no respite for the Police as Fisher knocked the ball about with ease.
Police goal keepr Will Packham, a former Fisher player, was the busiest man on the pitch.
Watts then grabbed his second with a left footed drive and then Anton Robinson made it five.
But the Blues are never a side to allow their heads to drop and give up the chase.
A corner on 59 minutes allowed defender Simon Gregory to venture upfield and volley home a deserved consolation goal.
The Fisher supporters were a happy bunch and were also quick to applaud the close ball control and speed of Police wingers Tony Finn and Craig Brown.
Alas Brown only recently back after a lengthy injury absence limped off with just 10 minutes remaining.
With the game entering stoppage time Watts secured his hat trick with a magnificent 20-yard volley.
I doubt if the Police will play against a better team all season.
