Children from Second Hook Scouts and their families gathered for a day of fun, which included sports, food stalls, activities and even live performances.
The family event, which managed to raise more than £1,000 to maintain the scout group, opened with a grand Surbiton Royal British Legion Youth Marching band and First Hook Scout and Guide musical showpiece.
World Championship cheerleading finalists the Surrey Starlets also showcased an energetic and acrobatic dance piece at the King Edward Recreation Ground field on Saturday, May 19.
More than 200 visitors to the fair were able to browse cake stalls and charity tables at the Chessington venue.
There was also a car boot sale, a tombola and a raffle on the day.
Cub scout leader and organising member Janice Cooke said: “We are all like a big family – It was a really friendly atmosphere. We were lucky with the weather too. People were sitting around on the grass watching the bands. It was a fantastic day.”
The 100-member strong Second Hook Scout group caters for youngsters aged between six and 14.
