A London-wide police sting operation against financial crime has seen 81 arrests for offences such money laundering, drugs fraud employee theft and conspiracy to defraud.
Operation Stimtone, launched this morning, saw more than 900 officers carry out raids and investigations on businesses in the largest day of action by the Met Police against economic crime.
In Croydon four arrests were made, all relating to fraud and money-laundering.
Property seized by police across London includes £1.4 million cash seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act, more than 500 cannabis plants, two replica firearms, a large quantity of class A drugs including 170 wraps of cocaine, one CS gas canister, two cars, one motorbike and a £25,000 motor cruiser.
Stolen property including games consoles has also been recovered.
