Forecasters are warning of showers today as predictions that the sunny spell is at an end continue.
Despite a lack of forecast rain in recent days, the Met Office is predicting showers from this afternoon which could stretch into the evening.
A forecaster said: "A dry and bright start with some sunny spells but cloud will increase through the morning and showers are expected to develop in most areas by afternoon, and these could be locally heavy."
Temperatures are still set to hit 25C.
Tonight would see showers although they would die out overnight, he added.
"Generally rather cloudy with showers largely dying out during the evening and then becoming mostly dry overnight with some clear spells developing," he said.
Tomorrow looked set to be a cloudy day with outbreaks of light and patchy rain in the morning, with maximum temperatures dropping to 21C.
"A generally rather cloudy day with a few outbreaks of showery rain through the morning," the forecaster said.
"The rain mostly light and patchy. Mostly dry by the afternoon, but cooler than recently."
