Croydon FC 0
Hythe Town 0
Croydon FC played out a goalless, yet entertaining, draw against Hythe Town on Saturday, writes Simon Hawkins.
The Trams took the game to their visitors and dominated the majority of the first half - but the goals just would not come.
After the break the visitors started to get back into the game but it was Croydon who continued to create the better chances.
Good efforts from Chris Hill, Tim Murdoch and Bronek Dabrowa rained down on the Hythe goal, but they weathered the storm. The visitors made a late surge to find the elusive goal and had the better of the remainder of the second half.
The Trams may feel they shaded it on points but Hythe will be happier with the draw than their hosts.

Croydon FC 1Earlier in the week, the Trams got a real going over when they faced Sporting Bengal for the third time in a month, this time in the Kent Premier Division League Cup.
After snatching an early lead through Suliaman Charm, Croydon were rocked by three great second half strikes from Shinsuke Itagaki, Hamza Sadouk and Saim Uddin.
They even missed a penalty in what was a comprehensive victory.
