I'm writing to you to ask if you can publish a message of thanks for me in your newspaper.
I am a 61-year-old widow who has trouble getting out and about. My son helps me where he can but otherwise I need the use of taxis as I am a bit unstable on my legs.
I have come across and use the car service in Abbotsbury Road, formerly known as Prontos.
I wish to commend all the people that I come into contact with there for being such a friendly and reliable bunch of guys.
I mostly use them to take me from home and into Morden so I can get my food shopping from Sainsburys. They usually wait for me to go round and then bring me back home.
In this world we live in today it is quite rare to be able to say thank you but that is what I want to do, to all the guys - from the controllers to all the drivers - for helping me and being so friendly and understanding.
MRS BRENDA BARRETT Langdon Walk Morden
