A cyclist has been killed in a collision with a car this morning on Mitcham Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the man, believed to be in his 30’s, collided with a car on the road between Beddington Lane and Rochford Way at 5.10am this morning.
Police, ambulance and air ambulance crews were sent to the scene but the man was declared dead at the scene at 5.41am.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Mitcham Road remains closed between Beddington Lane and Purley Way in both directions.
