Everyone who signed our Zone 6 petition is being urged to attend a rally outside Epsom Station on Saturday (July 14).
The demonstration is aimed at demonstrating to train company Southern the overwhelming support for the campaign, prior to a meeting between its chief executive and MP Chris Grayling on July 20.
So far 2,000 people have signed the online petition, many making passionate and persuasive arguments as to why the town should be included in the Oyster network now.
Saturday's rally is a chance for a show of strength before the key meeting with Southern at which Mr Grayling intends to hand over the petition.
Sean Duggan, editor of the Epsom Guardian, said: "There has been a fantastic response to the online petition, which just shows how strongly people feel about this issue.
"Now we need to get as many residents as we can to come along on Saturday morning to underline this point before the key meeting with the head of Southern next Friday."
The Zone 6 rally will be held at 10am on Sauturday, July 14 outside the station.
All welcome, and do bring banners and placards expressing your views on Zone 6 if you can.
