The mayor of Wandsworth enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment at the Pines Care Home.
Councillor Adrian Knowles joined the residents of the West Hill home for afternoon tea on July 5.
Mr Knowles and the residents took part in a sing-along from yesteryear alongside one of the homes regular entertainers.
After a tour of the period property, Coun Knowles spoke to residents about their lives and activities.
He also had the opportunity to chat with members of the care team, who took him through the range of therapeutic activities on offer.
Manager Sarie Kolbe said: "It was lovely for us all to have the chance to meet Coun Knowles and tell him about the events we run with the local community; he was very interested in the range of activities that we offer to our residents.
"I want to say a big thank you to Coun Knowles on behalf of our residents and staff for making this such a special day."
