A property company has teamed up with local artists to help promote some of their latest works.
Lightbox, in East Dulwich, is showcasing the work of Jennifer Jokhoo and Michael Burles inside two houses being released on the market.
Michael Burles, of West Dulwich, is displaying oil paintings depicting landscapes and cityscapes. Jennifer Jokhoo, of Nunhead, is exhibiting lithographic prints that document the construction of the Shard and the way architectural structures dominate space.
Michael Burles commented: "I am delighted to have this opportunity to work with Lightbox to display my paintings in front of a whole new audience, many of whom may well not have come across my work before. "It is mutually beneficial, as I get free exhibition space and Lightbox get to show off their stunning new show home to best effect."
Neville De Souza of Lightbox said: "As a company we are always thinking about new ways in which we can support our local community. Utilising our latest show home to provide free space for local artists to exhibit some of their works to potential customers seemed like a great way to do this. "Jennifer and Michael have both created works that really captured our imagination, and is why we were delighted to be able to work with them. If this trial is successful we hope to repeat the idea on a bigger scale with one of our larger developments."
