Singing supremo and music legend Sir Tom Jones will perform live at Sandown Park Racecourse this month, writes Nazia Dewji.

The British icon has enjoyed a successful career spanning more than four decades and is now set to wow audiences for the second time at the park.

Last year he took to the stage at the historical racecourse showcasing an energetic array of songs from his 46-year-long career.

This time round the multi-award winning singer in his 70s will be belting out some more of his big hits which include It’s Not Unusual, Sex Bomb and She’s a Lady on one day only.

He said: “I had such a great time at Sandown Park last year and was delighted to be asked to return. I look forward to seeing you all in July.”

Having sold more than 100m records and performed live at hundreds of venues across the globe, Sir Tom Jones recently graced television screens as a judge on the new BBC 1 talent show, The Voice, which saw his prodigy Leanne Mitchell become crowned winner this year.

The Voice participant and New Malden youngster Vince Kidd, who came fourth in the competition, was also able to meet superstar Sir Tom Jones as part of his experience on the show.
