Budding playwrights have been invited to put their fingers to the keyboard to create plays for an annual competition.
The Cornerhouse arts centre in Douglas Road, Surbiton is looking for people who want to write a play for the oneACTS 2013 festival.
The week-long showcase of original writing will take place in April next year and is open to anyone wanting to write a short play.
It will be the ninth year the arts centre has run the festival that has become well established and highly respected in the arts scene.
Plays need to be between 15 and 30 minutes long and judges will select the best original ideas to be brought to life with directors and a full cast for the festival.
Unsuccessful entries will receive feedback, so writers can improve their skill. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, October 31.
Email plays to oneacts2013@ thecornerhouse.org.
Information is available at thecornerhouse.org under oneacts2013 – guidance.
