A group of sixth formers have designed a new poster for the Save St Helier Campaign, as details of a major protest are announced.
Students at Carshalton Boys Sports College have become involved in the campaign after learning about the proposed closure of St Helier’s A&E, maternity, and children’s wards, in citizenship lessons.
The poster was designed by Sam Harrison, a year 12 art student.
He said: "I am really pleased that my artwork will help to promote a cause that is really important to me and everyone who relies on St Helier's services.”
The poster will be used to promote the campaign and a protest picnic on the green space in front of the hospital on September 8.
The event is intended to bring together those opposed to the cuts in a show of force.
