The winners for this year's Sutton in Bloom competition have been announced.
Best front garden in the borough went to Audrey and Michael Fawcett of Acre Lane, Carshalton, who will now go on to represent the borough at the London in Bloom competition.
"A lot of people take a lot of pride in their gardens and Sutton In Bloom sets out to acknowledge the effort and commitment of those people who brighten up our borough," said Noel Bergmann of Times Square Shopping Centre, sponsors of the Best Front Garden award.
"Mr and Mrs Fawcett are dedicated gardeners and are very worthy winners."
Children from Muschamp Primary schools garden club scooped the award for Best School Garden.
Other category winners were Joanne Winn from Little Woodcote Estate for Best Wildlife Garden, Mr and Mrs King for Best Allotment Garden, Linda Fountain for Best Community Garden and Melville Cars in Sutton for Best Business Frontage.
Joanne Winn will open th garden to the public for charity on Sunday, July 22 from 2pm to 6pm through the National Garden Scheme.
Admission will be £3 for adults, teas and cakes will be on sale.
There will also be plants and local produce available to buy.

Supporter of this years competition include the Sutton Guardian, Times Square, Recognition Awards, Sutton Community Farm and Woodcote Green Garden Centre.
