A Hersham family travelled to the heart of London for a charity walk raising money for a condition that took a loved one from them.
The Baker family became involved with charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (Cry) after losing their son Paul on May 1, 2009, aged 19.
The sixth Heart of London Bridges Walk on July 15 set off from Victoria Embankment and finished about three hours later, close to London Bridge.
The walk passed 12 of London’s most famous landmarks, representing the 12 apparently fit and healthy young people who die every week in the UK from sudden, undiagnosed cardiac conditions.
Chief executive and charity founder Alison Cox said: “Once again, we were moved to see so many wonderful supporters from right across UK joining us for this high profile and important event.
“We are immensely grateful that the Baker family and their friends were able to join us on Sunday and we know that so many people from their local area were also supporting the Bakers every step of the way.”
