Police are appealing for information about a bracelet seized from a teenager who had just exchanged it for cash in Cash Converters.
The 18-year-old man was stopped as he was leaving the shop at about 12pm on High Street, Sutton, on July 18.
Officers also seized £130 from the man on suspicion of it being the proceeds of crime.
PC Paul Wenham of Sutton police believes the bracelet has been stolen, most likely from a burglary and is appealing for anyone who recognises it to come forward.
If you recognise the bracelet contact Sutton's Town Centre Team direct on 0208 721 2710, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
