Walton businesses are embracing the Olympic cycle races on July 28 and 29 by showcasing the town with special events.
The High Street will be filled with stalls, refreshments, children’s rides and activities to celebrate the races.
Organised by the Walton Business Group (WBG), the Walton Summer Fair will feature tasty delights from the likes of Anila’s Authentic Sauces, the Noble Vine, the Naked Grocer and chef Jean Didier.
Staff from solicitors Howell Jones, estate agents Arthur Samuel, car dealership Withams, opticians Carmelo Castiglione and photographer Ted Palmer will also join in the family fun with freebies, competitions and fundraising.
The fair starts at 9am on Saturday, July 28, and 10am on the Sunday, finishing at 2pm both days.
Sarah-Jane Shellard, director of WGB said: “We look forward to celebrating this historic event in Walton with residents and new visitors, introducing them to the great businesses, dining and shopping the town offers.”
