A giant swan has taken to Carshalton ponds hours before the Olympic Torch arrives.
The huge swan stage in Carshalton landed on the pond this morning ahead of the Olympic torch's arrival at 2.30pm.
Unveiled in secrecy this morning, the giant swan will be the focal point of the day's celebrations..
This afternoon, the swan will be the stage for various musical acts including the Gary Mason drummers.
