Firefighters were called to an electrical fire last night.
Crews from Norbury and West Norwood fire station were called to Singleton Close, at about 11.30pm.
The fire, which is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault in a cupboard, left the house badly smoke logged.
Occupants were alerted to the blaze by their smoke alarm and were able to escape the property uninjured before firefighters arrived.
One firefighter said: "The house was heavily smoke logged for what it was. We stayed at the scene until about 2am to wait for the electricity board to isolate power to the house."
