A woman caught with a two wraps of cocaine in her underwear has received a £1,500 fine.
The drugs were found on Gemma Walsh, 28, of Ravensdale Gardens, Upper Norwood, after she was stopped at the junction of Tate Road and Norman Road, Sutton, on June 6 last year at about 9pm.
Police who stopped her had found her in possession of £1,580 cash in her handbag, weighing scales, ripped plastic bags and a number of mobile phones.
She was promptly arrested for money laundering and taken to Sutton Police Station. It was during a further search there that the drugs were found.
Walsh was sentenced on June 20 at Croydon Crown Court after pleading guilty to three counts of possession of a Class A drug, cocaine, and one count of possession of a Class B drug, cannabis.
She was fined a total of £1,580, which was covered by the seized cash found in her possession at the time of arrest, and the drugs destroyed.
