Drivers beware, the Olympic Route Network (ORN) launches tomorrow.

The ORN and  Paralympic Route Network (PRN) are networks of roads linking key Olympic venues during the London 2012 Games.

It will stretch from Wimbledon, passing through Parkside and West Hill and past the Wandsworth roundabout in Wandsworth High Street.

The route continues onto York Road, passing through Battersea and Nine Elms.

It is start operating on July 25, ahead of Friday's opening ceremony.

Games Lanes will make up a third of the network and will not be open to general traffic when in operation, with signs making it clear where they are.

Only accredited vehicles can use these lanes, with a penalty charge notice for any motorists who travel on them.

The ORN in Wandsworth will end after the end of the tennis event in Wimbledon on August 5.

During the Paralympics a smaller route will be used, which is launching a few days before those games.

Work to create the lanes began on Friday, and will be completed tomorrow.

Any vehicles that park or stop illegally on the lines will face a £130 fine, and could be taken to a vehicle pound.
