Musicians from across Asia descended on Wandsworth at the weekend for the BT River of Music.
The free music festival took place in Battersea Park as a warm-up for the Olympic Games.
A show-stopping performance was given by Pakistan musician Asif Ali Khan who was playing in the UK for the first time.
Chinese sensation Gong Linna headlined on Saturday, while UK dance outfit Transglobal Underground performed a fusion of Asian and Western musical influences.
Battersea Park made an apt choice for the Asia stage as it boasts the Peace Pagoda, and its own resident Buddhist monk.
Across the weekend other nations were represented elsewhere in London, including an Africa Stage in the Southbank and an Oceania Stage in Greenwich.
