A pair of teenage girls have pleaded guilty to attacking fellow passengers and carrying an offensive weapon on a tram.
The 16-year-olds, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Camberwell Youth Court on July 21.
The first girl, from Redhill, was charged with causing actual bodily harm and carrying an offensive and has been remanded in secure accommodation.
The second, from South Norwood, was also charged with common assault and carrying an offensive weapon.
She has been granted conditional bail with a curfew.
The attacks happened between Sandilands and Harrington Road on June 2.
The pair will be sentenced at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on August 9.
