Former British boxing champion Dereck Chisora has presented leukaemia charity the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, with a £20,000 cheque.
The boxer handed the cheque to ACLT co-founders Beverley De-Gale and Orin Lewis yesterday afternoon to honour a pre-match bet he made with former WBA Heavyweight Champion David Haye.
Defeated Chisora was knocked out by Haye in the fifth round of their much anticipated grudge clash at Upton Park.
The Croydon based charity, which Haye is a patron of, has said it is "delighted" by the donation, which will be used to support the charity in their work to spread awareness and increase the number of bone marrow, blood and organ donors from ethnic minorities.
ALCT Co-founder Orin Lewis OBE, said: "We are delighted to accept this cheque of £20,000 from Dereck Chisora on behalf of the pre-match bet between him and opponent David Haye.
"We are sincerely grateful to them both."
