A new charity shop in Wallington has said a big thank you to all its shoppers and volunteers.
The Sue Ryder shop had customers queuing up to get into the new store which was opened by MP Tom Brake on Friday, July 20.
Proceeds from the shop will go to help Sue Ryder continue to provide end of life and long-term care to people living with conditions such as cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, dementia and acquired brain injury.
Sue Ryder area retail manager, Christine Gregori, said: “It’s been absolutely brilliant and I’d like to thank shoppers for their interest and generosity.
"It was great to see so many people coming to see the new store and bringing with them donations.
"We have easy access to car parking which will make easy for people to shop with us as well as bringing donations of stock in.”
Anyone who would like to volunteer at the shop should pop in to have an informal chat or contact staff on 0208 6690278.
