The blooming Olympics have inspired a Sutton gardener.
Ray Jenkins, from Sutton, is a gardener who could not resist adding an Olympic addition to his back garden.
A large St George’s Cross made up of 166 red and white begonias is now headed by the Olympic rings made of children’s hula hoops.
In 2007 he planted a garden display representing the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the RAF and made up of red, white and blue bedding plants.
