Antisocial motorists were targeted by police in Hersham on Tuesday, July 17.
Surrey Police were in Burwood Road as part of the ongoing Drive Smart campaign.
Residents raised concerns about vehicles speeding along the road at the most recent neighbourhood panel meeting for the area.
Police issued fixed penalty notices to 11 drivers for speeding and one for driving with defective tyres.
One driver was also reported for a vehicle licensing offence, while another was reported for summons and eight drivers issued with words of advice for a variety of traffic related issues.
PC Ian Madelin said: “I’m pleased that we were able to address the concerns raised by residents and take positive action to tackle speeding in Burwood Road.
“The majority of motorists we encountered were driving at or below the speed limit and a lot of the work we are doing is reminding all motorists driving through the area that we expect them to do so in a responsible manner.”
