A burglar broke into a house in St Helier and stole a laptop on Monday, July 23.
The suspect broke a small pane of glass in the front door of the house at the junction of Green Lane and Love Lane at around 11.30am.
They left by climbing out of a rear window, over the rear fence, and then making an escape into Love Lane towards Glastonbury Road.
The police have issued a description of the suspect in the hope that someone can identify them.
The occupier was away from the property at the time, but a neighbour has provided a description of the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white male, aged late 20s to early 30s, about 5ft 10in to 6ft tall, and of slim build.
He has a large pointed nose and dark brown or possibly black coloured straight, shoulder length hair which was tied back in a ponytail with a white band.
He was wearing a black shirt, dark blue jeans and black hi-top trainers or possibly ankle boots. His features suggest he is English or possibly eastern European.
