Charitable youngsters took themselves out of their comfort zones by living in makeshift slums for three days.
Alex Dawe, Musta Dwiwayo, Ellen Drye, Conner Siveter and Owen Collinson-Hillion took part in a Slum Survivor charity event, on July 20 to July 22, at the Epsom Baptist Church Centre in Church Street.
They were sponsored by their families and friends to live in a slum, live on a rice diet and experience the way of life of those who live in these conditions across the world.
The children made jewellery and footballs, cooked and cleaned, carried water on their heads and picked up litter around Rosebery Park.
Martin Jewson, children, youth and families work at the centre, said: "I am very proud of the group and I am excited to see what God is going to do in the future through these young people in Epsom."
