The Olympic torch made its way down the River Thames this morning on the Royal barge The Gloriana.
Hundreds of people flocked to the river to see the flame complete the final leg of its mammoth journey across the country since it began in May.
Just after 10.30am The Gloriana appeared on the river off Putney Embankment followed by a number of skiffs and a police escort and the small convoy was cheered all the way before it disappeared out of view.
Anna Woodford said: "Putney didn't see the torch earlier in the week so it was nice to be a part of it."
The event marked Putney's first involvement in the Games although the men and women's Olympic road race passes through the area twice this Saturday and Sunday.
A total of 8,000 torchbearers carried the flame across the UK which has now travelled 8,000 miles.
