The start of the road race has kicked off in bright sunshine and seating along the Mall was packed with people baring flags.
Predictably, it was Tour de France heroes Mark Cavendish and Bradley Wiggins who got the biggest cheers.
But along with the "come on Cav!" crowd, spectators are here waving flags for Ireland, Greece and Canada, making quite an atmosphere.
This, of course, is our first real chance of a gold, but we're not expecting them back for almost another six gruelling hours, so you're going to have to wait a while to see if the dream team can pull it off.
Cavendish admitted to being nervous beforehand, but you have to think it's the other teams who'll be worried about him.
