Free mentor training is on offer to businesswomen in Croydon.
Forward Ladies, a business support organisation for professional women, are offering the training as part of a government scheme to provide free professional help to small businesses.
The training will take place at Croydon Conference Centre on August 7, between 9am and 1pm.
Anyone can take part in the sessions, subject to terms and conditions, but they must be willing to devote an hour every month to mentoring a small business.
Mobola Alex-Oni who runs Forward Ladies in Croydon, will be working with trainer Gaby Marcon to deliver training in the borough.
The aim is to recruit and train thousands of mentors from the micro, small and medium-size business community, who can help others to succeed.
Forward Ladies is an accredited centre for mentor training and mentors will earn an accredited qualification- introduction to enterprise mentoring.
Those interested in studying for a more advanced qualification are also able to do so.
