Surbiton forward James Tindall believes South Africa will provide a different sort of test to which Team GB faced against Argentina on Monday, writes Matt Bass.
The British squad made the perfect start to their Olympic campaign as they eased to a 4-1 victory, while South Africa were hammered 6-0 by Australia earlier in the day.
Britain will look to make it back-to-back wins and move a step closer to progressing from the group stage of the competition when they take to the pitch at the Riverbank Arena this afternoon.
But Tindall stressed it will not be the same challenge they faced against Argentina.
“They play a slightly different style,” the 29-year-old explained.
“They are in your face, aggressive and really strong. It is a challenge we are going to have to face. But we know how to do it. We have beaten them before in tournaments. We are looking forward to it.
“We have got a nice day of rest tomorrow, maybe with some training to sharpen up but moving on from there, it is going to be good fun.”
