A gang of teenagers has been arrested following a series of muggings earlier this year.
A 17-year-old boy, from Epsom, was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, and a 15-year-old boy, from Morden, a 16-year-old boy, from Epsom, and a 17-year-old girl, from Epsom, were all arrested on suspicion of robbery.
They were arrested last week in connection with the incidents, which happened around the High Street and Poole Road areas of Epsom.
£70 in cash and two BlackBerry mobile phones were taken.
Detective Constable Kevin Baker, said: "Between the end of February and mid March there were 10 robberies reported to Surrey Police in the Epsom area which we believe to be linked and I hope the news of theses arrests brings some reassurance to the victims and local residents that we are doing all we can to find those responsible.
"Being a victim of robbery is a frightening ordeal which can stay with the victim for a long time and I would urge anyone who has been a victim of such a crime to contact officers with details as we will do all we can to bring those responsible to justice."
The teenagers have been bailed and will appear at South East Surrey Magistrates’ Court on September 28.
