Oxted 7
Croydon Ladies 3
Croydon struggled against Premiership side Oxted in a friendly clash on Saturday.
The visitors held the defensive line firmly and despite some superior stick work from an Argentinian national player, Oxted could not take the lead until the 20-minute mark.
Croydon came close to equalising when captain Helen Anderson failed to convert a penalty flick, before her side conceded two goals to make it 3-0 at the break.
Jo Clarke finaly put Croydon on the scoresheet before Jen Hall took her chance to claim Croydon's second.
But Oxted responded by pounding Croydon's D and extended their lead.
Helen Anderson scored the final goal of the game to pull Croydon back to 7-3.
