A teenage girl was robbed at knifepoint yesterday in Wallington as she returned from a night out.
The 19-year-old was robbed at 1.40am on Wednesday, August 1 in Harcourt Road after getting off a 410 bus at Manor Road.
She had walked to the junction of Maldon Road and Harcourt Road when she was approached from behind by a man.
The man pointed a 3in-4in long knife at the woman and took her Blackberry phone, which had a purple rim and a picture of the Eiffel Tower on its cover.
He also took a purse with a kitten on it, £20 cash, a provisional driving licence and Oyster Card.
The robber is described as a white man, aged 35 to 40, about 5ft 8in and of average build. He had stubble on his face and was wearing a grey tracksuit with hood pulled up.
