Plans have been revealed for the retirement home to be built on the grounds of Wallington Magistrates Court.
McCarthy and Stone Retirement Lifestyles Ltd will hold a public exhibition tonight (August 2) at Wallington Library between 3.30 pm and 7 pm, to display early proposals for the development
Plans include the introduction of 57 quality new Extra Care retirement apartments, incorporating a mix of one and two bedroom units alongside facilities which form the communal heart of the development including a residents' lounge, office for the house manager and restaurant.
A spokesperson for McCarthy and Stone said: "McCarthy and Stone's strength lies in our experience of building superb homes tailored to the needs and aspirations of our older residents promoting independence and allowing older people to continue to lead healthy and active lives. Our plans aim to meet the needs of residents keen to remain in Wallington."
