Teddington's Ashleigh Ball admitted she would find it a struggle to sleep after her goal helped Team GB's hockey women on their way to a third straight win at the Olympic Park.
Ball scored the opener in a 3-0 triumph over Belgium kept them top of group A and in a strong position to qualify for the knock out stages.
Second half goals came from Laura Bartlett and Crista Cullen to put the seal on a memorable win at the Riverbank arena.
"Dream start to our games. Nine points. Laura Bartlett will struggle to sleep tonight, and I will too," she tweeted.
