The production of the cult classic Love and Human Remains is preparing for its opening night this evening (Wednesday) at the Warehouse Theatre.
Love Island star Paul Danan pulled out of the show last week because of a "heavy workload" and unknown Nic Thornton was drafted in as his replacement in the role of Bernie.
Love and Human Remains is a blisteringly honest look at modern anxieties surrounding sex and relationships.
It delves into the darkest of fantasies and plays with our morbid attraction to the macabre side of life.
David, out of work actor now waiter, lives with Candy, his ex-lover and book reviewer for the local rag.
In the pursuit of love and sex their lives become entangled by a number of seductive strangers - a psychic dominatrix, a sex-hungry civil servant and a lesbian schoolteacher.
However, when the games turn ugly it appears one of the number might be a serial killer.
The production is lead by award-winning director, Dominic Leclerc, whose previous productions include Blue for the Old Vic.
