Eden Street is closed off tonight after a bus hit a pedestrian in Kingston town centre.
Police collision investigators are taking photos of the end of Eden Street near the one-way system.
Officers at the scene declined to comment about the incident.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 8.20pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a bus and pedestrian at Clarence Street, Kingston upon Thames.
"We sent a single responder in a car, an ambulance crew, a duty manager and a medical team in a car.
"Our staff treated a woman reported to be 20-years-old for a serious head injury. The patient was taken as a priority to St George's Hospital, Tooting."
