There are only two months left to bid for cash from the Community Improvements Fund.
A total of £357,000 is up for grabs in the second round of applications and 28 proposals have already been submitted.
The fund was set up by Surrey County Council leader David Hodge, to improve local areas. Ideas so far include community allotments and a service to pass children’s clothes on to help new and young mothers.
Councillor Hodge said: “All the schemes that have already won cash are great examples of the county council and residents joining together to make Surrey an even better place to live.”
Weybridge Scout Hall was among the first 17 successful submissions in May and was awarded £21,280.
Bids can be made for between £10,000 and £50,000. Applications close on September 28 and a shortlist will be drawn up in November.
